National Textile University, Faisalabad celebrated National Green Day on February 9, 2017 on the directions of Focal Persons of Government of Pakistan and Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Rector National Textile University, Faisalabad inaugurated Prime Minister’s Green Pakistan Program at NTU by plantation in the main campus. On this occasion Dr. Zahid Rizwan, Director Faculty of Sciences, Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Director, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, and other senior staff members and large number of students were also present. The Rector also addressed the students and staff about the importance of plantation and its role on sustainability of the planet.
