Hands on Training of Science Direct and Science Direct Quiz in two sessions at NTU Faisalabad


NTU Faisalabad: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Hussain, Dean Academics has said that National Textile University (NTU) will change the future of Pakistani nation.

NTU Library and Computer Science Department organized a seminar with the collaboration of A & J Def Tek Consultants, Rawalpindi (A co-partner of HEC) on “Hands on Training of Science Direct and Science Direct Quiz” in two sessions: I (11:00am to 01:00pm) and Session-II (02:30pm to 04:00pm) on January 19, 2017 at IT Center, NTU Faisalabad. A large number of faculty members and students of Undergraduate, Postgraduate Programs and PhD scholars of each discipline attended the seminar on HEC Digital Resources. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Malik, Dean Faculty of Engineering and Technology was the Chief Guest in the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants and shields to the resource persons. Dr. Zulfiqar urged to the youths to acquire modern skills and proper usage of technologies to face the challenges of upcoming era. Senior Librarian (NTU)/HEC Digital Library Focal Person and Chief Organizer, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad presented the welcome address and said that digital resources is the need of the time and the awareness of resources is essential for research work. He especially thanks to the Honorable Rector, Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain for their valuable support and guidance to organize this event. At the end, Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Chairman Computer Science Department thanked all the participants and guest speakers/trainers from A & J Def Tek consultants, Rawalpindi and the seminar organizing team.
