NTU industry Liaison team visited SCCI on 20 October,2016. A high level delegation of Crescent Textile Mills Fsd was also along with NTU team.Dr.Munir Ashraf, Dr.Abher Rasheed and Mr. Muzzamal Hussain represented NTU in the visit.While Mr. Majid Raza bhutta, President SCCI, Mr. Adnan Arshad Sathi SVP SCCI, Mian Imran Akbar VP SCCI, Dr.Aslam Dar Ex. President SCCI and Mr. Khurram Khawaja Ex.President SCCI represented SCCI in the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that SCCI will try to arrange Land for Sialkot campus along with letter of support. NTU will offer different workshops/Training as per need of Local industry. NTU team will visit Sialkot on monthly basis and SCCI will provide space to experts in SCCI building. NTU and Industry will submit projects jointly to different government funding agencies. 

In another meeting  representatives of different associations also met the NTU and CTM team. Local exporters raised their issues regarding fabric requirement and its exports and they requested NTU and Crescent if they can make it locally as it will save their valuable time and money as well. Industry assured if they will provide fabric on compatible prices,industry will prefer to buy fabric from CTM.
