Members of Textile Composite Materials Research Group: Dr. Yasir Nawab (Principle Investigator) and Co-PIs Dr. Munir Ashraf and Dr. Abdul Basit won a research grant worth Rs 14.4 million from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for working on project titled: “Development, Characterization and modelling of low cost sustainable hybrid composite parts with antimicrobial activity”. The aim of project is to develop low cost functional composite using local raw materials for automobiles, civil and furniture applications.
