Trials have officially commenced at the National Textile University (NTU) Faisalabad for participation in the Pakistan Inter-University Badminton Championship 2026 being organized under the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

On the first day of the two-day trials, around 70 students participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their skills.

Advisor Students Dr. Danish Mehmood, Incharge Sports Waqar Ahmad and Sports Officer Imran Ali Gill were present on the occasion and reviewed the performance of the players.

Advisor Students Dr. Danish Mehmood said that the university administration is utilizing all resources for the promotion of curricular and co-curricular activities of the students. He added that talented players showing outstanding performance in the trials will be given the opportunity to represent the university at the HEC level.
