The NTU-PMYDC Wings Society successfully organized "Wajood-e-Zan" at National Textile University (NTU) on 22 April 2026 to commemorate International Women’s Day. The event was a vibrant celebration of female empowerment, creativity, and leadership. The ceremony officially commenced with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony by the Worthy Rector Dr Rashid Masood, who was accompanied by the Advisor Students Dr Danish, Ms Nadia Shamim, Convener Wings Dr Isma Hamid , Sports Officer Pervaiz Akhtar and other faculty and staff members. Their presence underscored the university's commitment to supporting gender equality and student-led initiatives. A key highlight of the ceremony was the Entrepreneurship Exhibition, where talented female students and local women entrepreneurs set up various stalls to showcase their small businesses.
The exhibition featured a diverse array of stalls, including handmade textile products, traditional crafts, customized jewelry, and home-based culinary ventures. This platform provided students with a practical opportunity to display their entrepreneurial skills and interact with a wider audience. The event was attended by faculty members and students who highly appreciated the innovation and hard work put in by the participants.
