Director ORIC Dr. Abher Rasheed and Deputy Director Research Dr. Sheraz Ahmed along with Lecturer Mr. Nauman Ali had a very long and fruitful meeting with CEO Escorts International, Mr. Sher Ahmed and General Manager Mr. Haseeb Hassan. Both the teams briefed about the nature of work they are doing. 

Escorts International is not only the official distributor of DuPont in Pakistan but one of the biggest manufacturer/Exporters of Technical Textile Fabrics in Pakistan. They showed keen interest to acquire testing services from NTU. Further, a team of experts from Escorts International will soon visit National Textile University to discuss and start new research projects in collaboration with NTU.

ORIC team, later, visited Haizum Hi Tech Textiles; discussion with CEO Mr. Aziz was very productive. The company is producing & exporting Technical Textile products to Europe. After discussion, two research projects were identified. Both the projects will be conducted combinedly by NTU and Haizem Hi Tech Textiles. Mr. Aziz will visit National Textile University in January 2016 to explore more opportunities of working with NTU. 

Overall, the visit was very valuable in terms of building industrial relations.
