The National Textile University hosted TAKRAAR ’26, the 6th All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest, on 17 February 2026 at its Main Hall. Organized by the NTU Debating Club, the event gathered participants from over 40 institutions nationwide, making it a highly competitive platform for young speakers.

Featuring both English and Urdu declamations in serious and humorous categories, the contest highlighted exceptional oratory skills and intellectual depth. Distinguished guests, including Dr. Sajjad Ahmed Baig, added prestige to the occasion, while expert adjudicators praised the high standard of performance.

Government College University Lahore emerged as the overall winner, while the University of Agriculture Faisalabad secured the runner-up position. The event concluded with prize distribution and reaffirmed NTU’s commitment to promoting literary excellence and meaningful discourse.
