Two-day trials for the university's future cricket team were held at the cricket ground of the National Textile University, Faisalabad. On this occasion, approximately 70 students from the university participated, showcasing their skills in various aspects of the game. These trials were organized under the management of the university's Sports Office. Following the trials, 30 talented students have been selected for a training camp. At the conclusion of this training camp, a final team comprising the best 15 players from among them will be formed. This selected team will represent the National Textile University in the upcoming All Pakistan Inter-University Cricket Championship. The university administration stated that promoting sports activities among students is a key part of their educational and training policy.
