The School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at the National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad, celebrated the grand culmination of its annual Sports Gala with a glittering awards ceremony held at the SET Hall.

The event was graced by Dr. Hafsa Jamshed, Chairperson of the Textile Engineering, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with a distinguished gathering of faculty members and sports officer's . Their presence underscored NTU’s commitment to fostering both academic excellence and athletic spirit among students.

Prominent figures in attendance included Mr. Waqar Ahmed, Convener of the Sports Committee, who played a pivotal role in organizing the event, as well as senior faculty members Dr. Abdul Basit, Dr. Haroon Rashid, Dr. Irfan Sial, Dr. Talha Hamdani, Dr. Habib Awais, and Dr. Faizan Aslam. The administrative and sports staff were also well represented by Mr. Imran Ali Gill, Mr. Sajid Anwar, and Mr. Sardar Parvez Akhtar.

The atmosphere at the SET hall was charged with excitement as students, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate the achievements of the participants. The Sports Gala, one of the most eagerly awaited events on the university’s calendar, featured a range of competitive sports designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.

During the ceremony, the Chief Guest and other dignitaries distributed trophies, medals, and certificates to the winners and runners-up of various competitions. In her address, Dr. Hafsa Jamshed lauded the participants for their enthusiasm, commitment, and good performance.
