On Friday, April 18, 2025, the National Textile University (NTU) welcomed the Focal Person of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Mr. Fahad Shahbaz, for an interactive session with the student body. Prof Dr Tanveer Hussain briefed him about NTU Youth Development Centre's progress.
Mr. Fahad Shahbaz interacted with students in the main hall and emphasised youth empowerment, opportunities under PMYP, and encouraged student engagement.
A dynamic Q&A session allowed students to directly interact with the PMYP representative, raising questions and making suggestions. Dr Danish, Advisor Students and Ms Nadia Shamim, Focal Person NTU-PMYDC, concluded the visit with a tour of the NTU PM-Youth Development Centre (YDC) and the GYM. Dr Hamza Khan, Convenor NTU-GYM, also showcased NTU’s GYM commitment to holistic student development under PMYDC.
