On October 30, 2024, Descon Engineering Ltd. visited the National Textile University (NTU) as part of the RTGB (Road to Growth and Betterment) Project, led by Dr. Ishrat Hussain. The initiative aims to align university curricula with industry needs, equipping students with practical, career-focused skills. The Descon team, represented by Ms Mahvash Murad Head Management Development Center (MDC), Mr Mehmood Ul Hassan, and Mr Waqas Riaz, engaged with NTU faculty and staff members Dr Zafar Javed, Dr Danish Mahmood Baitab, Dr Muhammad Asif, Dr Shahzad Iqbal, Dr Muhammad Hashim, and Ms Nadia Shamim. Both teams discussed collaborative strategies to enhance students' professional readiness. Afterwards, they held a focus group session with the presidents of student societies to gather insights on their expectations and career inclinations.
