A seminar on Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) awareness was recently held at National Textile University by the WING Society under NTU-YDC, aiming to educate students, faculty and staff about this common hormonal disorder affecting women. Chiesi Pharmaceuticals was the collaborative partner of the event. The event featured expert speaker Dr Samina Zafar Consultant Gynecologist (General Secretary - Society of Gynae & Obs. Pakistan) who discussed PCOS's symptoms, diagnosis, and management, emphasising the importance of early detection and lifestyle changes. Participants engaged in interactive sessions and shared personal experiences and health issues. Dr Samina Zafar addressed the health concerns and left attendees with valuable resources and a better understanding of promoting health and well-being for PCOS. The seminar was a significant step toward increasing awareness and support for those affected by the condition.
