National Textile University (NTU) observed World Drug Day to mark International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF). Mr S. Salman, and Dr Jaffar Hussain Mubarak grace the occasion with their presence. The event aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco consumption and drug abuse, promoting a healthy lifestyle among students’ faculty and staff. Dr Zuhaid Ahmad Convenor NTU Health & Blood Donation Society and Ms Nadia Shamim Asst. Director  Students Affairs indicated that we need to engage our youth in healthy co-curricular and sports activities to prevent them from indulging in drug addiction.

Dr. Jaffar Hassan Mubarik is a renowned social activist for his remarkable volunteer work for Anti-Drug Awareness. He works with ANF to educate the community, especially the young generation, about the dangers of drug use and abuse. He threw the message from his poetry and books. He distributed certificates, gifts and books to NTU students for encouragement.
