GIZ is supporting the textile industry in Pakistan's economic development and employment. In this regard, a recruitment drive for NTU students was organized by GIZ in association with the NTU Placement Cell and YDC. The effort was supported by the Faisalabad textile and fashion industry, which included Kay & Emms Private Limited, Klash Pvt., Beacon Impex (Pvt) Ltd., Maheen Textiles, and Ambition Clothing. Final-year students from each school at NTU were interviewed by HR professionals from the sector. The Punjab Job Portal and Shemeanswork-SMW both displayed the digital job registration process for the students.
