The opening ceremony of the Inter-Departmental Football Championship 2024 was held at the Football ground of the National Textile University. Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Convener of the Sports Committee, inaugurated the event. The match was played between teams from the Department of Textile Engineering (GMD) and the Department of Computer Science. The Department of Textile Engineering (GMD) won the match 4-1. Mr. Imran Ali, Sports Officer, and Pervaiz Akhtar, Sports Officer, were also present during the event.
