The inaugural ceremony of the All-Pakistan Inter-Varsity Badminton (Boys) Championship Zone-I 2023-24 took place on January 11, 2024, at the Synthetic Badminton Court of the National Textile University, Faisalabad. Professor Dr. Tanveer Hussain, the Rector of NTU, inaugurated the event.

Teams from seven different universities participated in the championship, including National Textile University Faisalabad, Namal University Mianwali, University of Mianwali, University of Sargodha, GC University Faisalabad, The University of Faisalabad, and University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

The distinguished guests in attendance included Mr. Tariq Nazir, Divisional Sports Officer, and Ms. Sajida Latif, District Sports Officer, from the Punjab Sports Department. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawab (Dean SET), Dr. Sajjad Baig (Dean FBS), Dr. Zafar Javed (Dean SA&D), Mr. Zabiullah Khan (Controller Examinations), Mr. Zulfikar Ahmad (Director Finance), Dr. Danish Mahboob Baitab (Advisor Students), Mr. Waqar Ahmad (Convener Sports), Mr. Imran Ali (Sports Officer/Organizing Secretary), and Mr. Sardar Pervaiz Akhtar (Public Relations Officer) were present at the event.
