Opening Ceremony of Intra-Departmental Sports, Department of Textile Engineering (Yarn Manufacturing) School of Engineering & Technology (SET) was held in the cricket ground of National Textile University, Faisalabad on October 30, 2023.

 Dr. Yasir Nawab (Dean School of Engineering & Technology) inaugurated the event.  Dr. Munir Ashraf Associate Professor / Chairman (DTE) Dr. Abdul Basit (Associate Professor/Sports Coordinator) DR. Muhammad Waqas Iqbal (Assistant Professor), Dr. Muhammad Bilal Qadir (Associate Professor), Mr. Fazan Aslam (Lecturer), Mr. Waqar Ahmad (Convener of Sports Committee), Mr. Pervaiz Akhtar (Sports Officer) and Mr. Imran Ali (Sports Officer) were also present at the event.
