NTU participated in the "Empowering women leaders’ summit"


Engr. Dr. Hafsa Jamshaid, National textile University Faisalabad participated in the "Empowering women leaders’ summit" in Marriott hotel, Islamabad, organized by Michigan state university (College of Education) and MSU VIPP. The summit was concluding ceremony of US funded training program at United States of America, where 25 Senior Leaders from Higher Education were selected across Pakistan. The summit was funded by US Department of state and United states Embassy. It was 2 years programs where senior leaders: Developing Female Leadership in Higher education in Pakistan.

 Dr. Hafsa presented her inquiry project "Awareness about Environmental Issues in HEI: Fostering a prospective to combat climatic change”. As she is working on sustainability and circular economy in textiles since many years.  Dr. Hafsa presented the activities along with awareness seminars in her report. Projects concentrating on life upscale of products were presented and were highly appreciated by the team.
