A lecture on “Sustainable Textile Product Design” was conducted by Ms.Aroobah Mumtaz at The millennium Universal College on 25 January 23. In the lecture, she discussed various topics from industrial waste to fast fashion under the lens of sustainable practices for our upcoming generations. She also shared some ideas for sustainable product design

The lecture was followed by a workshop in which she taught TMUC students about the techniques of textile surface creation by utilizing waste materials. Students' work (of School of Arts and Design) based on surface creation techniques were also shown to TMUC students as a reference which was much appreciated by the viewers.
