The students of School of Arts and Design (final year BFD and BTD) participated in the 2nd Student Design Competition on August 31, 2022, held at Emerald Hall Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.
The theme of the competition was “Innovative and Sustainable designs of the students from Pakistan's top Fashion and design Universities”.

Ten projects were presented from both departments with innovative designs and beautiful silhouette lines. The combined project of faculty members (Dr.Usman ,Mr.Shahid Zaheer ,Ms.Aroobah Mumtaz) and students (Shamikh Hameed and Ali Durrani) got first position in the projects from NTU. The chief guest highly praised all the innovative design ideas exhibited from School of Arts and Design, National Textile University.
