The government has declared August 5 as Youm-i-Istehsal (The Day of Exploitation) of occupied residents of Kashmir, in order to register protest against Indian government's brutal decision to strip occupied Kashmir of its freedom and autonomy to live.

In NTU a rally, taken out by students, faculty and staff with message cards in solidarity with residents of occupied Kashmir, the purpose was to remind the world community must pay attention that: "India's high-ups made many promises to Kashmiris and Pakistan but none of those promises were fulfilled".
