Society of Textile Chemists arranged a visit to Crescent Textiles Mills (Crestex) Faisalabad for the students of 2^nd semester, textile wet processing on March 12, 2022. Students were introduced to all processes of a wet processing unit i.e., pretreatment, dyeing, printing & finishing. These processes were explained in detail by Crestex representatives to students. They observed machinery, processes and parameters with keen interest. Students also visited the laboratory, where sample machines were installed to optimize processes and to perform various tests on fabrics. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to familiarize with working environment of a textile processing industry.
