Society of Textile Chemists arranged a study tour to Sapphire Finishing Mills Ferozwattwan Unit# 9 for the students of 5^th semester, Textile Processing, on 15 Jan 2022. Dr. Sharjeel Abid accompanied the tour. Mr. Fiaz Ahmad, R&D Manger received the students and guided them to the wet processing floor. All the textile wet processes and machinery were explained in detail for conceptualization of real time industrial processes. The students exhibited keen interest in all the processes and systems. Students also visited the lab to observe the various testing facilities. Mr. Safdar Ali Dahar, GM, interacted with the students and shared his views about professional attitude for practical life. The visit provided the students with an opportunity to learn about the wet processes on industrial scale.
