Mr. Musaid Hanif (Chief Executive, Zephyr Textile Limited) and Mr. Rana Sohail Ahmad (CEO, Shan Associates) visited National Textile University on February 10, 2022. Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Rector NTU) briefed the guests about the contributions of NTU in the textile sector. Mr. Musaid Hanif along with Mr. Rana Sohail Ahmad, visited the labs and research infrastructure of NTU. Both NTU and Zephyr Textiles identified the areas of cooperation, especially the improvement of processes, reduction of wastes and costs, product development and taking support of Engineering services. Dr. Yasir Nawab (Dean SET), Dr. Munir Ashraf (Chairman Textile Engineering Department), Dr. Ahsan Nazir (Director ORIC) and Dr. Muzzamal Hussain were also present in the meeting. An MoU was also signed to strengthen the cooperation in the areas of mutual benefits.
