A delegation of NTU and NED UET faculty visited Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers & Exporters Association (PHMA) on January 27, 2022, to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to transformation of manmade fibers’-based textiles. During their visit, Mian Kashif Zia, Chairman of PHMA (NZ), received the delegation along with executive members of PHMA. They highlighted the issues related to the adoption of manmade fibers and the potential role of academia to assist the knitwear sector regarding the new product lines.
