Department of Textile Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology (SET), National Textile University, Faisalabad, arranged an alumni meet-up to pay tribute to Prof. Muhammad Baland Iqbal (late) for his excellent services for the university. Various industrialists, faculty members, students, and stakeholders participated in this event to thank their beloved teacher for his efforts, dedication, and hard work. Prof. Tanveer Hussain (Rector) acknowledged the contribution and services of Prof. Baland Iqbal for National Textile University and announced to dedicate SET multipurpose Hall to the name of “Prof. M. Baland Iqbal Hall”. He also motivated teachers to follow the footsteps of the legend teacher. He announced Teaching Excellence Awards (Prof. Buland Iqbal Award) for increasing the faculty’s dedication to make exemplary efforts for the students. Dean SET, Dr. Yasir Nawab, recognized the selfless contribution of Prof. M. Baland Iqbal and announced Prof. Buland Iqbal Scholarship for the needy students. SET teachers, alumni and industrialists will contribute donations for this scholarship.
