Society of Textile Knitters, Department of Textile Engineering, arranged a visit of K.M.Ashraf & Sons (PVT) LTD, Sialkot, for the final year knitting students on 29^th Jan 2022. K.M. Ashraf is a vertically integrated unit and develops knitted sports garments for the U.S market. The students observed the working of the weft and warp knitting machine, knitting quality control, process parameters, processing, and garment manufacturing. This visit provided the opportunity to learn about the process parameters and working environment of the industry.
