Department of Textile Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, National Textile University, Faisalabad, arranged a seminar on "Recent Trends in Textiles" on 12^th Jan 2022. One of the event's key highlights includes the excellent innovations performed at NTU by Dr. Munir Ashraf (Principal Investigator of the HEC's funded Rapid Research Grant Project titled "Development of bioactive hospital & protective suits against viruses and bacteria by immobilization of nanomaterials." More than 300 individuals from Industrial sector, students, and other stakeholders attended the seminar following proper COVID-19 SOPs. Dr. Yasir Nawab (Dean SET) and Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Rector) praised the efforts of Dr. Munir Ashraf and his contributions during the pandemic.
