FAISALABAD, 27 July 2021: Automation has become life line in industries today because PLCs allow manufacturers to work smarter and faster. The capacity of a PLC controller to operate uninterruptedly amid tough environments makes it an invaluable asset. Automated processes minimize the occurrence of bottlenecks which reduces expenses in operation and production time. The greater accuracy and repetition of tasks enables streamlined workflows. When industrial PCs are integrated with automated software, they can work for long hours in any kind of industrial setup. Therefore, PLCs are used in almost every phase of the manufacturing process. To cover this important topic for industrial organizations, NTU organized one day certificate course on PLC Programming & Industrial Automation at CECA NTU. CECA is a University-Industry collaboration between National Textile University Faisalabad and Asian Institute of Industrial Air.  A number of participants from a diverse industrial background, the faculty and students of NTU participated in this training.
