NTU Debating Club arranged "Introduction to Parliamentary Style Debates" on 7 April 2021 through MS Team. Mr Haris Ali Virk was invited as Guest Speaker.

Mr Haris Ali studied English Literature at GCU Lahore and served as President of the GCU Debating Society. He has won almost all the major National debating championships including Shahjiwana (twice), Kinnaird College, UET, GIKI, FCCU (twice), Mian Iftikhar Din Debating Championship (thrice), SIMS, and JSMU Open Karachi. GCU has awarded him with Prof. G. D. Sondhi Medal for the Overall Best Graduate, Mohammad Idrees Medal for the Best Debater, Waleed Iqbal Medal for the Best Parliamentary Speaker and the co-curricular Roll of Honour. Mr Haris has also served as a Chief Adjudicator at Urdu Nationals 2020 and has been part of the Core Adjudication Panels at Kinnaird Urdu Open 2021, GCU Parliamentary Debates 2021, and Forman Lahore Debate Open 2021. The session was ended with question answer session.
