“Compressor health is the foundation of energy management and productivity on Textile Industry floor, as compressed air production takes up to 70% of electric consumption in textile industry”, said Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Vice Chancellor, National Textile University, Faisalabad, while addressing participants of 2 Days Certificate Course on Compressor Maintenance at (CECA) Center of Excellence in Compressed Air, NTU.

CECA is a University-Industry collaboration between National Textile University Faisalabad and Asian Institute of Industrial Air.

Several participants from a diverse industrial background including faculty and students from NTU participated in this training.

CECA has published an annual training calendar for a series of training program which will cover the complete domain of compressors and compressed air systems. Training calendar also includes the trainings programs related to Manufacturing Processes and other technologies. Upcoming training programs will in March 2021 will cover topics of Compressed Air Quality as well as Process Control for manufacturing industries.
