Subsequent to the directions of HEC, NTU has recently gone through the External Quality Assurance Mechanism for Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) and Program Review (PR). Two committees formulated by QAA-HEC along with Ms. Nadia Tahir (Managing Director QAA-HEC) visited NTU from 03 to 05 March,2020.

The committees evaluated & reviewed the prescribed IPE Standards and MS/M.Phil & PhD Degree Programs. The Institutional Performance Evaluation Review Committee consisted of Dr. Shahid Hameed (Convener), Dr. Nasir Shaheen (Member) and Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh (Member). The Post Graduate Program Review Committee consisted of Engr. Dr. Najmul Islam (Convener), Dr. Muhammad Mansha (Member) and Dr. Muhammad Mohsin (Member). Both the committees also visited and reviewed the campus infrastructure and facilities, met with Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, Principal Officers, Faculty Members, and the students.  The Quality Enhancement Cell led by Prof. Dr. Zahid Rizwan (Dean QEC) oversaw the activities and ensured smooth progression of the three days review visit. Engr. Muhammad Haroon (Assistant Director QEC), Mr. Muhammad Naeem (Lecturer & member QEC) and Syed Arshad Abbas (Data Analyst) were the focal persons during the visit. The visit was concluded after the exit-meeting of both the committees with Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Rector, NTU).
