NTU-ORIC organized a training workshop on 17 February 2020, titled Industrial Design Application Filing in Pakistan” in collaboration with Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) for the Department of Design. Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba Kamal (Deputy Director)Mr. Muhammad Umar Ashraf (Director from IPO, Islamabad)were the resource persons of the training workshop. They discussed the training modules in detail and answered queries of the participants about Intellectual Property Laws, Design & logo application preparation and filing and specific types of claims. Twenty participants from design department of NTU attended the workshop and appreciated the efforts of ORIC Staff.The workshop ended with 15 application from faculty of design department for submission to IPO in order to protect their designs.
