January 9, 2020, Mr. Muhammad Adeel successfully defended his thesis defense of Ph.D. in Computer Science, entitled “Modeling and Computer Simulation of Mammary Gland Tumor Cells Aggression Level for Evaluating the Efficacy and Toxicity of Anticancer Drugs”, under the supervision of Dr. Muhammad Asif, Associate Professor and Chairman in Department of Computer Science, at NTU, and co-supervision of  Dr. Muhammad Naeem Faisal, Assistant Professor, Institute of Pharmacy, Physiology and Pharmacology, at University of Agriculture Faisalabad.

Chairing the defense committee and as external examiner, Dr. Fakhri Alam Khan, Ph.D. (Associate Professor of Computer Science, Centre for Excellence in Information Technology , at Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar)  and Dr. Sher Muhammad Daudpota, (Associate Professor of Computer Science & Director Quality Enhancement Cell, at Sukkur IBA University) also as external examiner gave excellent remarks to Dr. Muhammad Asif and Dr. Muhammad Naeem Faisal for supervising such kind of applied contribution of Computer Science in Oncology domain and congratulated Mr. Muhammad Adeel for his achievements and his successfully presented work. It is a big milestone for the Computer Science Department of NTU. Because it is not only the First produced Ph.D. by the Computer Science Department of NTU, but it is also the first Ph.D. in Computer Science produced ever in Faisalabad.
