NTU debating club arranged an interdepartmental declamation competition titled as "Quaid ka Pakistan", more than 15 debaters from both English and Urdu categories participated in the event and pay their tribute to the father of the nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Quaid’s birth anniversary. Team trophy was awarded to the team of textile processing department for the distinguished performance of Danial Shabir and Saif ul Islam of TP 3^rd semester in both Urdu and English declamation. Shields among first, second and third position for both English and Urdu categories were distributed by Dr Munir Ashraf, Mam Nadia Shamim and convener debating society Mam Asma Iqbal.

Mr. Syed Jarrar Haider Naqvi from hi-tech university a well reputed name in the debating circle and Ms Laiba Fatima were the adjudicators of the event. At the end jury members provided critics to the debaters.
