A seminar on “Implementation of Lean in Textiles” was arranged by society of garments and textile knitters on Oct 22, 2019 in the main hall of NTU. Mr. Mudassar Hassan from Masood Textile Mills and Mr. Wasantha Kumara from Kamal hosiery were the guest speakers. Mr. Mudassar Hassan shared his team success in MTM and guided the student about basic concept of leans. Mr. Wasantha Kumara shared his experiences and guided the student about how lean is important in our industry and how lean concept effects productivity and cost in textiles.
