The main theme of the conference was Globalization of Engineering Education and Practice. The conference was inaugurated by Honorable President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi along with Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Mr. Fawad Hussain Chaudry. The audience got a chance to listen world-leading educationists including Em Prof Elizabeth Taylor, Chair, Executive Committee Washington Accord of IEA, Australia - Prof Megat Johari, Ex-Director, Engineering Accreditation Council, Malaysia and Colin Smith, International Technical Director, WSP Project, Qatar.
