Department of Weaving, National Textile University introduces Project Excellence Award. This award was given to Weaving Industry for bringing extraordinary services in respect of profitability, creativity, productivity, environmental solutions and innovation. Mr. S.M. Qutab was awarded Weaving Project Excellence Award for the year 2019 in recognition of his contribution for the development of fabric for Abrasive Coatings that brought extra ordinary profitability to the weaving industry. The project selected for the Project Excellence Award was decided by the committee. The project was introduced by Dr. Syed Talha Ali Hamdani at this Weaver’s Night 2019. More than 30 industries were invited to compete in this award, from which the project of Mr. S. M. Qutab stood best and won the title. The award was presented by the Rector of National Textile University, Prof. Dr. Tanvir Hussain.
