National Textile University and Intellectual Property Association of Pakistan (Punjab Zone) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration on the basis of reciprocity related to intellectual property services, research and internship opportunities; where each of the parties may responsible for the efficient implementation of the activities agreed. The ceremony was held on 8^th May, 2019 at Seminar Room NTRC. MOU was signed by Dr. Ahsan Nazir, Director ORIC - National Textile University and Mr. Nabeel Ali, Executive Director IPAP (Punjab Zone).

The MOU establishes guidelines among NTU and IPAP (Punjab Zone) to provide capacity building programs & relevant material to the faculty of NTU on Intellectual Property Rights. Moreover, IPAP committed to unfold various placement, internship and mentoring opportunities for NTU students. Both parties agreed to promote and inculcate entrepreneurship in the region. Further to strengthen their relation, it was decided that IPAP will closely work with Office of Research Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) and Business Incubation Centre (BIC) within the sphere of NTU.

Dr. M Osama Nasim Mirza, Dean FMS, Mr. Ata ur Rahman Deputy Director – ORIC, Mr. Zain Ul Abideen, Director Operations, Mr. Usman CEO - UNIAL were also present during MoU signing ceremony.
