This year 20-21 March commemorated fourth annual Dice and Covitex Conference, which marked another achievement for Department of Yarn Manufacturing. For the second time running Department of Yarn Manufacturing held the prestigious honor of winning the first position in the biggest event of the year. This year it was the tireless work and endless dedication of Mr. Afaan who under the guidance and supervision of Dr. M. Bilal Qadir secured first position in the category of Science and Technology for the development of “novel spinneret for needless electro spinning”. 

In addition to that, final year projects were also on display of Yarn Manufacturing stall. Prizes were also distributed among final year students for their efforts in final year projects. Society of Textile spinners congratulates all the winners.
