Ms. Marwa Nisar and Ms. Sumbal Malik (BTDT, 6^th Semester) won third position in 3^rd Knit to Achieve Competition 2019 hosted at National Textile University. Designers worked on the theme of renowned painting Starry Nights painted by the Post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh and replaced the rhythmic brush strokes of great master with the Textile waste materials. Textile painting witnessed the whirling clouds, shining stars, and a bright crescent moon. The setting is the one in which viewers can easily relate to   Van Gogh´s swirling sky directing the viewer´s eye around the painting.

Some other Projects from Design Department like hand knitted home textile articles, knitted fabric bags and accessories were also displayed at the competition.
