Rector NTU, Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain visited Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad to meet his Excellency, Dr. Arif Alvi, President Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Being the Chancellor of NTU, the President was briefed about the role of NTU in strengthening the Textile sector of the country along with the academic and research activities going on at the university. Mr. Farrukh, MNA and Parliamentary Secretory for Railways accompanied the Rector on this occasion.
