Dr. Zubair Khaliq of Department of Polymer Engineering secured the travel and accommodation funding from Uludag Textile Exporters Association for the participation in the 10^th UTIB International R&D Brokerage Event in Turkish Textile and Clothing Sector from March 8 to 9, 2018 held in Bursa, Turkey. Textile and Polymer materials related research projects were displayed from all around the globe. Dr. Zubair Khaliq presented two research proposal in this event. One proposal was related to the processing parameters of the cellulosic materials to develop the biodegradable polymer. The other was related to the carbon fibers for the potential application in the field of energy.
