Inauguration Ceremony of "National Fiesta-18"

National Textile University, Faisalabad held a mega event “National Fiesta-18” on 23rd & 24th February, 2018. It was a national level multi category event in which number of educational institutions across Pakistan participated in diverse competitions of Arts, Sports, literary, Business and technical. Huge number of Participants from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, Punjab University, Lahore, Step Institute of Arts and Management, Lahore, Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore, University of Education, Lahore, University of Sargodha, Sargodha, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro, National Textile University, Karachi Campus, Government College University, Faisalabad, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad ,The University of Faisalabad, Faisalabad, NFC-IEFR, Faisalabad, TIPS College, Faisalabad, FAST, Faisalabad were participated with zeal and zest.
A two-day event that begins on Friday, which aims that, NTU aspired to live up to its reputation as the Liberal Multi Category University of Pakistan. The basic purpose behind this festival was to create harmony, skill sharing and cooperation among students of other universities and students of NTU. National Fiesta-18 ensured the participation of students in National Construction in terms of exploring, engaging and empowering the talent of youth.
Inauguration Ceremony
Participants and guests were welcomed in graceful inauguration ceremony which was held in NTU main campus on first day February 23, 2018 of National Fieasta-18.
Inauguration ceremony of National Fiesta-18 was hosted by the Worthy Dr. Tanveer Hussain (Rector), Dr. Zafar Javed (Registrar), Dr. Amjed Javid (Advisor Students Affairs), Mr Saleem Ansari (Convener NTU Arts & Culture Society) Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmad (Director of Finance), Mr Waqar Ahmad (Director Sports) faculty, students and administrative staff of NTU also accompany to encourage the participants. Ceremony was started with recitation of Holy Quran and after that event was officially started.
Competitions continued for 2 days followed by glorious social events. These events covering a wide range of their native norms and cultures. A large number of students and University faculty members attended the event. Connected with National Fiesta-18 participants and guests were excited, enjoyed and encouraged the efforts of NTU Fiesta Team.
