IBA Karachi in collaboration with Interloop Limited and National Textile University initiated the Certificate in Entrepreneurship program on the 17th of November. The orientation ceremony of  the Weekend Certificate in Entrepreneurship program was held at National Textile University Faislabad. Out of more than 400 applicants only 55 participants from different institutes and areas of Punjab were selected to attend this program. Dr. Shahid Qureshi (Director Center for Entrepreneurial Development at IBA Karachi and Board Member of Ignite, Pakistan), Mr. Col. Ijaz Ahmad Nasir (Executive Director & Secretary of Interloop Welfare Trust), Dr. Habib Aslam Gaba ( Chairman Standing Committee Industry Academia Linkages and Entrepreneurship of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Dr. Zafar Iqbal ( Registrar National Textile University Faisalabad) and Mr. Ahmad Yasin(Secretary General of Dyes and Chemical Association Faisalabad) were the Guest of honor and Dr. Tanveer ( Rector National Textile University Faisalabad) was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. The orientation began with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by the Naat which was volunteered by the participants. Ice breaking activity was conducted among the participants to familiarize them with the environment and with their fellows. A welcome address was given by Dr. Osama Nasim Mirza and Dr. Shahid Qureshi shared the “Journey and Mission of IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development” with the participants. In the end Dr. Tanveer praised the vision of IBA National Entrepreneurship Program as it is empowering the youth of pakistan and specially lower class of our society.
