Mr. Liaqat Ali, Head Department of Management Sciences, along with seven faculty members visited Nishat Mills Limited Lahore (NML) on Friday, September 22, 2017. NML was established in 1951, and is one of the most modern and largest vertically integrated textile companies in Pakistan. The faculty members included Dr. Muhammad Osama NasimMirza, Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Baig, Dr. Muhammad Hashim, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad urRehman, Mr. Farooq Jamal, Mr. ZahidHussain and Mr. Nasir Ali Saim. Main objective of the industrial tour was to improve industrial linkages of Department of Management Sciences so that views of industrial experts are incorporated in education and training of future business graduates. During the tour, the faculty members visited weaving, processing and stitching units, and held meetings with senior managers from HR and Marketing departments.
