University Brunei Darussalam's School of Business and Economics (UBD SBE) organized International Conference on Business, Economics and Finance (ICBEF). The two-day conference featured 60 papers presented by speakers from 14 countries. Professor Dr. Charles Horioka, Vice-President & Research Professor at the Asian Growth Research Institute, Japan, and Dr. Guler Aras, Professor of Finance and Accounting & Director, YTU Center for Finance, Governance & Sustainability at Yildiz Technical University Turkey, delivered the key note speech. 

Muhammad Zia ur Rehman, Lecturer, Department of Management Sciences, presented his research paper in the area of Accounting & Finance and won the best paper award along with a cash prize. Travel grant for the presentation was awarded by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.
