Department of Applied Sciences arranged a visit of MS Mathematics Students to different Departments of Textile Engineering and NTRC, NTU on 21st and 22nd June 2017. The purpose of the visit was:

• To create awareness in MS Mathematics students about the fundamentals and mechanisms of textile related processes and equipment.
• To let them know about Mathematical modeling of textile related procedures and processes.
• To Introduce them with different problems which can be solved using Mathematical modeling.

Dr. Umber Sheikh (Coordinator Mathematics) and Dr. Shahid Hussain Arshad (Asst. Prof. Mathematics) coordinated the visit. The cooperation of the Departments of Textile Engineering and NTRC in this visit is commendable.
