Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of National Textile University has completed the 1st Cycle of Self-Assessment Process for Software Engineering. The Assessment Team visited Computer Science Department of the university for the Assessment of Software Engineering Program on May 24, 2017. The Self-Assessment Team was comprised on the following members: Dr. Hashim Yasin, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, FAST, Faisalabad Campus.

Dr. Muhammad Awais, Assistant Professor/In Charge, Department of Software Engineering, Government College University, Faisalabad, Dr. Zahid Rizwan, Associate Professor, Director, Faculty of Science, NTU, Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Assistant Professor, Chairman, Computer Science, National Textile University, Faisalabad, Muhammad Nisar Bhatti, Director QEC, Mr. Muhammad Shahid, Lecturer, Program Team Member, Ms. Anam Zahid, Lecturer, Program Team Member and Engr. Farakh Javed, Assistant Director QEC.

During the visit, Assessment Team evaluated the program by using HEC’s prescribed Assessment Criterion and Recommendation Form. They visited departmental facilities like labs, library and classrooms. They also interviewed faculty members of the department and students of the program and appreciated the current level of the academic program and advised to upgrade it further as well.
